Cloud Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our cloud strategy and innovation.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud roadmap aligned with our digital strategy, encompassing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments within Microsoft Azure.
  • Promote the adoption of cloud-native architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps principles to automate deployments and operations.
  • BUILD, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of cloud specialists, including Cloud Engineers, Automation/DevOps Engineers, Cloud Security Specialists, and Cloud Architects.
  • Optimise cloud spend by ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks, standards, and policies for cloud operations, security, and compliance with regulations such as ISO27001 and Essential Eight.
  • Act as an Incident Management Lead (IML) during rostered periods to coordinate responses to major cloud disruptions.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role focused on cloud strategy, architecture, and operations in a large, complex organisation.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading major cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing technical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience and relevant cloud certifications.
