Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Development – Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS architectures, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Automation and Orchestration – Implement and manage Terraform for consistent deployments, utilizing automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance – Lead security initiatives, applying best practices and frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NZISM, ISO) to safeguard data and meet regulatory requirements.
  • System Monitoring and Performance Tuning – Utilize tools like CloudWatch and Datadog to monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize services for reliability.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments, including compute, networking, storage, and database services.
  • Relevant AWS certifications or equivalent expertise.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NZISM, ISO) and experience implementing controls in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and agile/DevOps practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
