Event Coordinator Role

The Event Coordinator is a vital role that involves providing exceptional service to clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and their events are planned and executed professionally.

This position works closely with internal stakeholders from other hotel departments to guarantee seamless event execution.

  • Respond to clients' event inquiries through all platforms, following the sales flow to completely understand their needs, budgets, and expectations.
  • Utilize sales and reservations systems, ensuring accurate CRM data and entries reflective of business source and channel.
  • Support the sales department with proactive business hunting, prospecting for potential leads through data, recommendations, and sales calls.
  • Host site inspections that wow our guests and seal the deal for decision makers.
  • Carefully prepare banquet event orders covering every aspect of the client's event, ensuring no detail goes un-noted and event staff have all the information they need for an uninterrupted experience.
  • Work closely with back-of-house teams on event coordination, menus, and room setup requirements to host top-tier events.
