Dementia Care Specialist

Job OpportunityThe Workshop Facilitator will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care provided to individuals with dementia. This position involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and training initiatives for staff, caregivers, and stakeholders involved in dementia care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff capabilities and capacity
- Evaluate and improve training initiatives to ensure effective care delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a supportive and enabling environment
- Document and report on training outcomes and progress
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission and values
- Minimum 2 years' experience in program delivery and training
- Proven experience in training and education, preferably in healthcare or residential care
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with training technologies and software
This role is based in Adelaide, with opportunities for working from home and intra and interstate travel.
