The RoleThe Workshop Facilitator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of care provided to individuals with dementia by focusing on capability and capacity building. This involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and training initiatives for staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders involved in dementia care.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to deliver exceptional, relationship-based care.
- Evaluate and improve training initiatives to ensure they meet the needs of staff and individuals with dementia.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build capacity and capability within the organisation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Minimum of two years' experience in delivering programs in a face-to-face setting and online.
- Proven experience in training and education, ideally within a health care or residential care setting.
- Dynamic personality with the ability to engage audiences quickly and build strong rapport.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong learning agility and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with training technologies and software.
