As the Digital Experience Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of commerce by leading cross-functional teams to design and optimize digital experiences that drive business growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for directing the execution of user experience design, communicating design decisions to leadership and stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Your expertise in digital product design, usability, and transactional design best practices will enable you to develop strategic solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and approve the execution of user experience design
  • Clearly explain design decisions to leadership, your team, and stakeholders
  • Identify future opportunities by keeping up to date with design trends, societal shifts, and new technology
  • Be a thought partner providing recommendations based on research and data for experience enhancements across all digital touchpoints
  • Provide accurate estimates as to needed time to complete work to feed project plans (and therefore personal deadlines)
  • Lead work done by both internal associates and external vendors

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in digital product design with demonstrated leadership experience, a firm grounding in general usability, and transactional design best practices
  • Familiarity with large-scale websites or global digital apps/digital products
  • Experience leading design in visual identity and brand in a digital space
  • Understanding delivering concepts, user journeys, prototypes, etc., across platforms (desktop, mobile web, app, etc.) with inclusivity in mind
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with major, large-scale global digital apps, websites, or other digital products in commerce
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including facilitation, presentation, and storytelling
