Senior Field Service Technician Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as a Senior Field Service Technician, providing exceptional technical support to customers. Your primary focus will be on servicing customer sites with a focus on HVAC Automation and Controls.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for service, maintenance and commissioning of Honeywell and third party equipment. This includes day-to-day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses, repairs faults, basic programming and commissioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain complex HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Navigate and interrogate Building Management System (BMS) interfaces, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
  • Quoting estimates for labour requirements, materials costs and quantities, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through direct liaison, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Measure and report performance indicators and site service objectives, driving continuous improvement.
  • Deliver value to clients and customers by ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Identify near misses, incidents and opportunities for improvement, reporting them promptly.
  • Conduct regular hazard and risk assessments, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in BMS HVAC: Knowledge of BMS controls systems and ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Electrical experience: Basic understanding of electrical diagrams and switching principles.
  • Instrumentation experience: Familiarity with instrumentation devices and control applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information simply.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
