Senior Engineering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering functions and drive technical excellence across the organisation.

You will be responsible for shaping and delivering our design management strategy, driving innovation and continuous improvement in engineering delivery, building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally, and leading change and fostering a high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading engineering functions within complex, regulated environments, with a proven ability to develop and implement design management strategies that align with business goals and technical standards.

Key qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading engineering functions within complex, regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement design management strategies that align with business goals and technical standards.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness, enabling sound decision-making and budget management.
  • Demonstrated success in building high-performance teams and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation and externally.
  • A clear and decisive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage risk and drive outcomes under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of project engineers and collaborating across business units to ensure projects meet governance, technical, and performance standards.
  • Developing and implementing design management strategies that align with business goals and technical standards.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
  • Leading change and fostering a high-performance culture.
