A Key Role within Our Team:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coder Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. The successful candidate will be based at either Dandenong Hospital or Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with potential opportunities for remote work in the future.

About the Opportunity:

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to expand your clinical coding skillset and contribute to the development of our team. You will have the flexibility to work full-time or part-time and can expect to start in January 2025, continuing until March 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for accurately coding patient data using electronic medical records, working closely with our dedicated coding team in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will enable you to provide high-quality services across various casemix specialties, from newborns to adults.

The Ideal Candidate:

">

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor of Health Information Management or Clinical Coder qualification, along with relevant computer technical skills applicable to Clinical Coding Services. As an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you will have a strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
