Rehabilitation Specialist Role

We seek an experienced Rehabilitation Specialist to support individuals who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will take a holistic care approach to facilitate recovery and empower clients to regain independence.

  • You will perform comprehensive assessments including functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living evaluations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including injured employees, employers, medical specialists and allied health professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Develop, monitor and review individualised rehabilitation strategies to ensure optimal outcomes for clients who have sustained workplace or motor vehicle-related injuries.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current registration or eligibility for membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g. AHPRA).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for helping people recover from injury, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
