A rehabilitation consultant plays a vital role in helping individuals navigate complex rehabilitation plans and achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with treatment providers, health professionals, employers, insurers, and stakeholders to provide clinical opinions, report writing, and education on injury management and prevention.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with treatment providers to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
- Provide clinical opinions and report writing
- Attend workplaces weekly to assess physical demands and support safe return to work
- Educate workplaces on injury management and prevention
- Build relationships with health professionals, employers, insurers, and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology
- AHPRA or ESSA registration
- Strong communication and report writing skills with a client-centred approach
- Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
