We are looking for a dedicated individual who can play a pivotal role in driving the success of these programs. As a Support Mentor, you will be responsible for facilitating workshops, maintaining respectful relationships with community members, identifying and promoting employment opportunities, and assisting participants with training and employment activities.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to empowering marginalized communities.

About the Role

This full-time position is based in Dubbo, AU and requires a flexible individual who can adapt to changing circumstances.

Duties:
  1. Facilitate workshops for school students and learner drivers, providing them with essential life skills and knowledge.
  2. Maintain respectful relationships with community members and stakeholders, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  3. Identify and promote employment opportunities, helping individuals to secure meaningful and rewarding careers.
  4. Assist participants with training and employment activities, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
  5. Support pre-employment activities, including digital literacy and job applications, ensuring that individuals have the necessary tools to access employment opportunities.

The successful candidate must be able to pass a Police Check and Working with Children check, hold a full driver's licence, and have access to a reliable vehicle.
