
Community Safety Advocate

As a Road Safety Champion, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of students and staff at school crossings.
This is a casual position that requires flexibility and reliability. You will be working in various locations within the Dubbo Local Government Area, providing relief at sites during school zones hours.
Shifts may fall between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM, or 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, during the school term. A minimum of one hour shift per day will be required as and when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, staff, and other members of the community
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic first aid knowledge and willingness to learn more
You must also possess the following qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment
