The Aboriginal Health & Wellbeing Project Officer plays a critical role in providing program and administration support, focusing on improving primary care services in our region.
This position requires a motivated individual who has a passion for primary healthcare and community wellbeing, capable of collaborating with team members to generate relevant information and data needed to support the improvement, coordination and integration of Culturally Safe Primary Care Services for Aboriginal people living in our area.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Assemblies, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHO's), Aboriginal Communities, and the Aboriginal Health Council to achieve outcomes regarding improving Aboriginal Health in our region.
- Collaborate with staff to generate relevant information and data needed to support the improvement, coordination, and integration of Culturally Safe Primary Care Services for Aboriginal people in our region.
