About St John the Evangelist Catholic High School

We are a co-educational Catholic high school recognised as a centre of excellence in learning and pastoral care, with a strong focus on student growth in learning and building peaceful just relationships. Our school draws students from Berry in the north to as far south as Ulladulla.

Job Overview

This part-time position commences 30 January 2025 until 11 April 2025. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, providing assistance in all areas of student learning and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of quality learning and teaching in the classroom.
  • Assist students with diverse needs, promoting inclusive education.
  • Maintain positive interactions with students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
RequirementsEssential Criteria
  • A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Ability to support children's individual learning in the classroom.
  • Understanding of and ability to work with students with diverse needs.
  • Technical competence in appropriate technologies.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in similar settings.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Certificate III in Classroom Support or equivalent.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience).
