Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager - Operational Leader to join our team in Nowra. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating service strategies in functional areas, effectively managing client services, facilitating team development, and driving improvement in performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Client Services: Manage client services that uphold unique needs, responding to changing circumstances in a dynamic environment.
  • Foster Team Development: Drive improvement in performance, promoting the continued viability and growth of the service through effective team facilitation.
  • Sector and Community Awareness: Stay informed about sector changes and community needs, incorporating this knowledge into the business plan for the service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work towards excellence, ensuring the service meets Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ideally, 2+ years in aged or community care; alternatively, extensive experience in Social Services, Management, or Human Services, with a similar role.
  • Networking and Partnerships: Develop partnerships with external organisations, leveraging networks to drive collaboration.
  • Financial Acumen: Deliver operational strategies, demonstrating solid financial management skills.
  • Team Leadership: Confidently navigate teams through ambiguity and change, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Work Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to risk management practices.
  • AN-NACC and AHPRA Registration: Possess extensive knowledge of AN-NACC and hold a current registration with AHPRA.
