About the Role:

In this part-time position, you will work on maximum term contracts (till Dec 2025) across various locations between Nowra and Wollongong. As a Counsellor-Facilitator, your primary responsibilities include providing holistic support to clients through counselling services, case management, group work, and advocacy.

You will develop comprehensive client plans, maintain accurate records, and ensure all documentation meets organisational requirements. Your expertise in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling is essential, along with graduate membership of a relevant professional body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality counselling services, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes for clients
  • Conduct thorough client assessments, developing tailored goals and plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to legislative and funding requirements
  • Work effectively as part of a team, promoting a supportive culture

What You'll Need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling
  • Graduate membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., PACFA, AASW)
  • Proven experience in assessment, counselling, and case management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
