Job Overview

As a Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in empowering recipients to navigate the NDIS and unlock their individual packages. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by ensuring they receive the best possible support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Empowering recipients to take control of their lives and make informed decisions about their NDIS plans.
  • Coordinating various services to support recipients in living fulfilling and meaningful lives within their communities.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, community service providers, and families, to ensure that supports and services are leveraged effectively.
  • Working closely with recipients to strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports and achieve their goals.
About You

To be considered for this rewarding role, you will need:

  • A genuine interest in mental health and disability sectors.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and its operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality support and services.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Ability to engage recipients effectively and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse communities and individuals.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health or minimum 2 years' experience in the mental health sector.
  • Current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates.
  • A valid driver's license and a roadworthy vehicle.
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion certificate.
