Enhance Your Geoscience Skills
The Geological Survey Western Australia offers a unique opportunity to develop your geoscience skills and data awareness through an Industry Ready Graduate Program.
This two-year program is designed to support your university learning journey, followed by on-the-job applied geoscience training.
Your key responsibilities will include engaging in assigned research and project activities, designed to equip you with expertise required to excel in the resources sector.
The program focuses on providing a non-industry-specific, transferable skillset across geoscience and data roles.
To be eligible, you must be a penultimate year student in Honours or Master's degree at Western Australian universities, willing to enter a two-year commitment and sign the deed with the employer.
As a participant, you can expect flexible working hours, hybrid work options, professional development, mentoring, and 12% superannuation.
Key application details include being accepted from penultimate-year students in Honours or Master's programs in Semester 2 of each year, with openings for up to three geoscience or data science students per year.
