Job Description:

As a Hydrogeologist, you will enhance your capabilities and the reputation of our Mine Water team. You will work collaboratively across borders and disciplines on iconic projects, applying your hydrogeological expertise to drive sustainable solutions.

Our global team supports the industry's decarbonisation efforts in the accelerating green transition. Working together, you'll join a leading team working on complex projects. We are experts in our field and passionate about mining.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive assessments of groundwater resources and practical engineering solutions for mining projects.
  • Undertaking hydrogeological assessments, including site investigations, data interpretation, groundwater conceptualisations, and reporting.
  • Providing technical expertise and experience in groundwater investigations, management, and impact assessment.
  • Developing groundwater assessments and drafting technical reports.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their challenges and provide trusted, practical advice.

Day-to-day tasks include undertaking hydrogeological assessments, providing technical expertise, developing groundwater assessments, and collaborating with clients. Your work will involve providing comprehensive assessments of groundwater resources and practical engineering solutions for mining projects.

Requirements:Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Geoscience discipline or Environmental Sciences
Experience:
  • 2-5+ years of professional hydrogeological experience (comparable experience will be considered)
Skills:
  • Proven experience in consulting or the mining industry
  • Site experience with hydrogeological investigations, dewatering operations, monitoring programs, drill supervision, and/or water sampling

Essential skills and qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in a Geoscience discipline or Environmental Sciences, 2-5+ years of professional hydrogeological experience, and proven experience in consulting or the mining industry.
