As a leading global geological consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled geologist or geoscientist to join our team. This role involves designing, managing and maintaining solutions to internal and external geoscience problems. It includes conducting geological fieldwork, developing novel approaches, expert knowledge in mineral systems, site visits, validating and managing geological data, reviewing quality assurance procedures, compiling GIS workspaces, providing training, contributing to reports, project management, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring team members, and participating in business diversification activities.

About the Role
  • Designing, managing and maintaining solutions to solve internal (organisation) and external (client) geoscience problems;
  • Conducting geological fieldwork such as mapping, sample collection, logging, and drilling supervision;
  • Developing novel approaches to solve geoscience and data analytical problems using machine learning and multivariate data analysis approaches;
  • Expert knowledge in mineral systems and mineral system science;
  • Conducting site visits for due diligence work, mineral resource estimation support, and project evaluations;
  • Validating and managing geological data from projects around the world;
  • Reviewing quality assurance procedures and quality control data;
  • Compiling GIS workspaces and preparing graphical outputs;
  • Providing training for field teams and clients;
  • Contributing to the writing, peer review, and technical editing of reports;
  • Project managing work programmes, budgets and reporting;
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Training and mentoring other team members and contractors;
  • Carrying out training and professional development programmes;
  • Participating in client progress meetings;
  • Leading multidisciplinary projects at various scales, from deposit to district;
  • Actively participating in business diversification, growth and development activities, identifying opportunities to support clients.
