About the Role

Gorilla Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant based in our Wagga Wagga office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the physical, psychological, and social needs of clients
  • Design, implement, and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured workers to achieve successful return to work outcomes
  • Perform worksite assessments and ergonomic assessments
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, medical practitioners, and insurers
  • Provide advice to clients and their support networks on injury management, prevention, and self-management strategies
  • Conduct case conferences and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to rehabilitation
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff and participate in the ongoing professional development of the team

Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation, including experience in providing rehabilitation services to injured workers and conducting worksite assessments
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to clients' workplaces
