About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at MediRecruit - Diverse Careers In Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.
  • Assess the worker's transferable skills and potential through various means, including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contact employers to enquire about potential jobs and market the Work Safe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Social Work.
  • AASW accreditation.
  • Experience within employment services (highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management (highly regarded).
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian driver's licence and own car.
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia.
