Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Village Handyperson and Maintenance staff member. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks in our village community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing broken fixtures and replacing light bulbs.
  • Assist with landscaping duties, including mowing lawns and maintaining gardens.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs or maintenance work is required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
