The Role of the Resident Experience SpecialistThis role requires a passionate and dedicated individual who can champion the vibrant lifestyle we foster across our retirement communities. As a Resident Experience Specialist, you will be a trusted point of contact for residents, providing ongoing support, information, and wellness check-ins.
You will create a warm environment for residents, families, and visitors, managing village communications, including updates, events, and social activities. You will also coordinate with new and prospective residents, promoting occupancy by managing referrals and showcasing the village lifestyle.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the key point of contact for residents, providing ongoing support, information, and wellness check-ins.
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
- Managing village communications, including updates, events, and social activities.
- Coordinating with new and prospective residents, including tours, onboarding, and contract support.
- Promoting occupancy by managing referrals and showcasing the village lifestyle.
- Maintaining accurate resident records using CRM tools.
- Oversseeing maintenance requests, contractor coordination, and service delivery to meet resident needs.
- Supporting tenancy processes and sales targets in collaboration with internal teams.
- Fostering positive relationships across teams, including Home Care and Care services.
- Helping resolve resident concerns and promoting community harmony.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the resident experience and village life.
We are looking for someone with qualifications in Retirement Village Management, Frontline Management, or Hospitality, along with proven experience in sales, customer service, or compliance, ideally within the aged care sector. A genuine passion for working with older people, strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail with a strong ability to problem-solve are essential.
