Signalling Engineer for Major Infrastructure Projects

Our diverse portfolio includes high-security military bases, major rail transport infrastructure projects, and landmark buildings. We own one of Australia's largest plant and equipment hire companies, Select Plant Australia.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile rail projects across New South Wales, coordinating signalling design, procurement, site works, and testing & commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Ensure timely completion of signalling construction and installation activities within project objectives.
- Design Management: Oversee the signalling design contractor and process.
- Interface Management: Coordinate between design, procurement, site works, and testing & commissioning teams.
- Design Review: Verify signalling design drawings, reports, and data for correctness and stakeholder alignment.
- Rail Safety Assurance: Implement and maintain rail safety processes.
- Technical Support: Provide expertise to Laing O'Rourke rail projects as needed.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to and promote Laing O'Rourke's policies and procedures.
- You will have a relevant engineering degree and significant experience in rail signalling on large-scale civil/rail projects.
- Rail signalling experience must be clearly demonstrated on your resume.
- You will hold a valid driving licence and pass a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Construction Industry Induction and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) certifications are also required.
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
