About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney.

Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke that specialises in the delivery of all aspects of rail projects, working closely with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project objectives.
  • Providing support to the Project Manager in delivering project aspects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Directing and mentoring project engineers and site engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.

About You

  • A degree in an engineering discipline or construction management with Chartered Professional Engineer status.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering or construction, with a focus on railway engineering and signalling systems.
  • Knowledge of railway engineering standards and specifications, modern signalling technology, and signalling principles.
