Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a leading global business as a key member of its in-house legal team.

You will collaborate closely with the General Counsel to provide commercial and pragmatic advice on various matters impacting business operations, leveraging your expertise in litigation to enhance commercial judgment, contract risk assessment, and mitigation.

Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, providing solutions-focused legal advice, identifying and managing legal risk, and supporting dispute resolution efforts.

The legal leadership team prioritizes mentoring and development, offering hands-on experience with business-critical projects and opportunities to refine your commercial thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, providing solutions-focused legal advice, identifying and managing legal risk, supporting dispute resolution efforts.

Requirements:

5 years PQE in corporate and commercial law, background in private practice or in-house, Victorian practising certificate, strong legal drafting and negotiation skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
