Senior Maintenance Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Planner to join our team at MMG Australia's Dugald River Mine in Queensland, Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a world-class zinc mine operation, utilizing your expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling to optimize equipment performance and ensure safe and efficient production.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining maintenance strategies across all equipment and infrastructure, using the ARMS program OnePM. Additionally, they will be accountable for master data changes and creation in SAP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, scope, and plan maintenance work orders to enable effective utilization of resources, including personnel, contractors, materials, and documentation.
  • Build and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all maintenance activities, ensuring adequate resource allocation and capacity leveling.
  • Review subsequent notification comments to ensure accurate data collection in the field.
  • Attend and prepare weekly planning and scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources.
  • Continuously improve maintenance practices to enhance maintenance performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive planning and scheduling experience in a mineral processing fixed plant maintenance operations environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of strategy creation and failure mode elimination.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work area responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Technical trades qualification or engineering qualifications in the appropriate discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Manual driver's license.
  • High-level understanding of common maintenance practices and standards.
  • Exceptional knowledge of SAP, particularly SAP PM and master data objects.
