Senior Property Accountant for Investment Management

Stockland is a community-focused company seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our Investment Management Finance team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in management and financial accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting standards and principles. A CA/CPA/CIMA accreditation is advantageous, but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as free access to lifestyle, health, and well-being services.

About the Role:

  • Provide accounting advice and support to key teams, ensuring accurate financial results for the Investment Management portfolio.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, half-year, and year-end financial reports, including accruals, journals entries, management reports, cashflows, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, variance analysis, and provide commentary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including BAS and STI submissions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance organisational effectiveness through process improvement and innovation.

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in management and financial accounting in a similar role.
  • CA/CPA/CIMA accreditation advantageous.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting standards and principles.
  • Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to express ideas both verbally and in writing.
