About the Role

The role of Research Information Specialist at ASIC involves providing high-level research support to the organization.

  • Conduct in-depth research using a range of electronic and specialized print resources to support business operations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance research skills and knowledge for ASIC teams.
  • Design and implement current awareness services to keep teams informed of industry developments.
  • Collaborate with ASIC business units to understand their information needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with the Library & Research team to ensure seamless delivery of core services.

About You

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Library or Information Management is essential.
  • Experience in providing research support in a business or legal environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of software applications, including library systems, research databases, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in developing and presenting training programs is highly valued.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including building and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to implement and manage change and process improvements.
