Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Leader

About the Position

You will lead and enhance our compliance function across transport networks, delivering high-quality, technically sound outcomes in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

This role is focused on providing functional leadership, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and driving a strong culture of compliance and continuous improvement throughout the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies across key business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with NHVR, HVNL, Mass, Maintenance, and BFM requirements.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders and act as a key contact for regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, and reporting, driving accountability and action.
  • Cultivate a strong culture of safety and compliance by collaborating across departments.
  • Support and develop a high-performing compliance team.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, systems, and initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in transport compliance, with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership capability with a structured and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and a direct, professional style.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and hold others accountable.
  • A strong sense of ownership and a focus on delivering high standards consistently.
  • A relevant qualification in Compliance, Safety, or a related field (desired).
