A Manager Role in Risk and Compliance

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Manager in Risk and Compliance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in embedding and enhancing regulatory compliance capability across the Group Divisions.

Job Description

As a Manager in Risk and Compliance, you will work closely with Business Unit leaders, Line 2 (Group Risk), and other stakeholders to provide pragmatic compliance advice, design and implement effective controls, and monitor adherence to internal and external compliance requirements. You will also contribute to risk-in-change assessments, support governance and training initiatives, and lead the implementation of remedial actions to uplift compliance maturity across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance matters and ensure alignment with Group's Compliance Strategy and standards
  • Design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular monitoring and reporting on compliance performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Business Unit leaders and Line 2 (Group Risk)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing effective compliance controls
  • A bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as AACI or ACI 10980NAT highly regarded
