What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Advisor to join our Compliance and Quality team. In this role, you will ensure the organisation meets regulatory authority requirements and remains compliant with the National Law and Regulations through effective actions and oversight.

The role:

  • Being the first point of contact between Affinity's early education and care services across Australia, Affinity's corporate office, and their Regulatory Bodies.
  • Analyse and respond to incoming complaints and incidents ensuring accurate and effective information gathering.
  • Manage, assess, and co-ordinate the management of reportable incidents and complaints across Affinity's services ensuring that internal and external stakeholders are appropriately notified.
  • Track and ensure any matters requiring external notifications are actioned and closed out by the legislative deadlines.
  • Provide support and advice to the organisation around theEducation and Care Services National LawandRegulations.
  • Prepare reports, submissions and briefs in relation to incidents and complaints to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Maintain and update various relevant databases and information storage systems around regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all communication is accurate, professional and adapted to suit the relevant stakeholder audience.

Skills and experience you'll need to be successful:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory and legislative environments desired but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability in handling compliance issues with professionalism.
  • Experience within early education and care is desirable but not mandatory.

Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
