About the Role
As Strategic Asset Manager - Land Optimization, you will lead the strategic oversight and optimization of Adbri's extensive land assets, driving initiatives to support operational and financial goals. You will identify commercial opportunities, manage property development projects, and ensure the portfolio aligns with Adbri's broader strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: Assess properties for highest and best use, focusing on operational and financial optimization.
- Development Planning & Approvals: Secure permits, manage property development applications, and foster strong relationships with councils and regulatory bodies.
- Project Management: Deliver asset optimization projects, leveraging industry best practices and engaging with subject matter experts.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and maximise returns through strategic sales, leases, or developments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders to support development and address concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in property management, development planning, or asset optimisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in securing council approvals and managing large-scale development processes.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to assess project feasibility.
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
