Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines.

You will perform pipe stress analysis, develop and support FEED and Design studies including detailed design calculations, and develop and support the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets.

You will also participate and support in Risk assessment & SMS workshops, prepare and support cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages, and write technical reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes related to the pipeline industry
  • CPEng
  • Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to manage your time and work independently
