Personal Care Assistant - Aged Care Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality care to older adults in Melbourne.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
    • Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing to the nursing team
    • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enrich their quality of life
    • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided
    • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care or healthcare, particularly in a PCA role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, empathetic nature with a genuine commitment to aged care
  • Ability to manage challenges with professionalism and a resident-first mindset
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
