Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team in caring for older adults. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to older adults with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consumers, their families, and carers to ensure holistic care and support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to mental health care.
Requirements:
- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in acute mental health settings, preferably working with older adults.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
