The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Airport Operations Manager at the premier gateway to Australia.

As a leader, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to service excellence and ensuring the best possible experience for passengers, staff, and contractors alike.

Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating airport operations effectively and efficiently, developing and managing business strategies to achieve profitable service outcomes, providing hands-on and strategic leadership, and overseeing innovation and change management projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate airport operations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Develop and manage business strategies to achieve profitable service outcomes
  • Provide hands-on and strategic leadership to team members
  • Oversight of innovation and change management projects
  • Implement and monitor work practices and standards to ensure quality, environmental, and safe work procedures
  • Contribute to presentations to prospective client stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive work-related experience
  • Experience in managing multiple and complex operations
  • Ability to lead, educate, and develop managers and their teams
  • Detailed understanding of customer/client behavior
  • Superior change management skills
  • Proven project management experience
  • Knowledge of union and statutory requirements pertaining to operations
