Airport Operations Manager

Oversee the smooth, safe and efficient running of airport operations as a key leadership position.

This role ensures excellence across safety, service and operational performance while representing the airline within the airport.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day airport operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint.
  • Drive operational excellence in areas such as safety management, on-time performance, baggage handling and contingency planning.
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration.
  • Manage suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and high service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong knowledge of airport regulations and safety standards is essential.
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in budget and supplier management.
  • High level of professionalism and computer literacy.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with authorities, industry partners and stakeholders.

What You Will Achieve:

As Airport Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the smooth, safe and efficient running of our airport operations. This is a leadership position where you will ensure excellence across safety, service and operational performance while representing our airline within the airport.

The successful candidate must have the flexibility to proactively anticipate changing priorities and have a hands-on approach. A strong knowledge of airport regulations and safety standards is essential, as well as proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with authorities, industry partners and stakeholders, and partnering with regional and head office teams to deliver company-wide initiatives and local improvement projects.
