Ground Operations Duty Manager Role

This is a key leadership position that supports the delivery of ground operations in airports. As a Ground Operations Duty Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, baggage, and passengers. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive day-of-operation performance to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversight of ground handler activity to maintain high standards.
  • Support the delivery of aircraft movements through effective coordination and communication.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to improve operational performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operationally driven businesses, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of airport ground operations systems. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to assess decisions' impact on business outcomes. Requirements:
  1. Experience building effective working relationships with formal and informal networks.
  2. Leadership skills in operationally driven businesses or similar environments.
  3. Knowledge of receipt and dispatch processes & standards, resourcing requirements, and loading requirements of passenger and freight aircraft and baggage room processes.
  4. Familiarity with Airport ground operations systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
