We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to spearhead our Dispute Resolution Team within the Victorian Workers Compensation division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement proactive strategies for dispute resolution and conciliation.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance development.
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and resolution of disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Promote early resolution practices, including conciliation, to drive efficient outcomes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor team performance and contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and case management.
About This Opportunity

You will be an accomplished leader with a strong background in dispute resolution, case management, or legal services.

As a successful candidate, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in managing complex disputes, preferably in a Vic Workers Compensation or regulatory environment.
  • A solid understanding of early resolution principles and Victorian Worker's Compensation legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments with empathy and professionalism.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, dispute resolution, public administration, or a related field (desirable).
