The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our dispute resolution team, overseeing complex disputes and promoting early resolution practices. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery, aligned with legislative and procedural frameworks.

You will provide strategic leadership to a team of professionals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders to develop and implement a proactive approach to dispute resolution and conciliatory matters.
  • Lead and manage a team of dispute resolution specialists, providing coaching and performance development.
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and resolution of disputes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Promote and facilitate early resolution practices, including mediation and conciliation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor team performance and contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and case management.
About the Role

This is a full-time contract position based in Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
