Director of Agricultural Credit Leadership

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Agricultural Credit Leadership to lead our Commercial Agriculture credit team in delivering high-quality credit services to our customers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting credit team goals, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of credit services.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Commercial Agriculture credit team, ensuring alignment with association objectives and goals.
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve exceptional results, foster a culture of excellence, and promote a positive work environment.
- Credit Analysis and Decision-Making: Approve or deny loans within delegated authority, make recommendations for loans exceeding authority, and establish appropriate loan terms and structures to manage loan risks.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the quality of the loan portfolio, identify and report on adverse credit trends, risks, or problems to the Chief Credit Officer.
- Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships with sales, credit, operations, and other leaders and team members to meet customer needs positively and quickly.
- Business Planning and Development: Develop and execute functional or departmental business plans to meet association objectives, and consult and coach the Commercial Agriculture staff to bring about desired results.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field.
- Over ten years of progressively responsible agricultural credit experience, with at least five years in a leadership role or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
This role requires strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals as requested.
