Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Manager to lead our regional capability for software spend, renewals and negotiations. This senior role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work with a global team and local leaders to help optimize software spend and compliance across a large portfolio of renewals and new purchases.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead complex software contract negotiations for medium to high-risk agreements globally, collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute best-in-class licensing and negotiation strategies to optimize costs and mitigate operational risks.
  • Formulate and implement data mapping and cleansing processes to clarify license positions, leading cross-functional teams through true-ups and audit responses.
  • Provide expert guidance on software contracting and license compliance to minimize operational risks and optimize costs.
  • Manage work requests, complexity, and productivity within defined Service Level Objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in software contract negotiation, software asset management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with software licensing models, compliance risks, and cost optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead or significantly contribute to high-dollar contract negotiations for software agreements.
  • Strong understanding of global enterprise software agreements.
