Job Title: Project Officer, Breastscreen Nsw
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of a diverse range of projects, contracts and services to contribute to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives for the Screening and Prevention Division.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Award and manage grants.
- Undertake initiatives to engage priority populations.
- Evaluate projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in program or project management and the application of project management principles and techniques.
Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent are required. Relevant professional experience and training are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Project Implementation: Support the implementation of projects across various portfolios.
- Grant Management: Manage grants and awards to ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Community Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to engage priority populations.
- Project Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of projects to assess their effectiveness.
