About the Opportunity
The Charles Perkins Centre (CPC) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support key health initiatives and cross-centre collaboration.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating project activities, fostering connections across research and clinical networks, curating and delivering events, and performing administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support CPC initiatives through the planning, implementation and delivery of key research and health programs aligned with the Centre's strategic priorities
- Foster collaboration by building strong networks across Nepean, Camperdown and Westmead, with a focus on engaging early- and mid-career researchers
- Lead the planning and delivery of events and communications that promote CPC work and engage internal and external stakeholders
- Manage project operations, including financial administration, reporting and governance processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery
- Support research and funding activities by assisting with ethics and governance processes, preparing reports, and identifying new funding opportunities in collaboration with researchers
- Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience in project management and administration within a research, university or health environment
- Strong understanding of research processes including ethics, governance and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across disciplines and locations
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
