Our government organisation is seeking a part-time retail leasing coordinator to undertake various tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Negotiating, preparing and implementing existing and new leases (licences)
  • Negotiating short-term tenancy arrangements
  • Supervising valuations and renewal processes
  • Collaborating with management in forecasting and developing budgets and costings
  • Sourcing new business and tenants while continually developing relationships with existing tenants and relevant stakeholders
  • Providing advice and assisting with property strategy & new developments
  • Communicating and liaising with tenants, statutory authorities, consultants, contractors, and the public
  • Monitoring compliance of all tenants
Essential Requirements

To be successful, you will require:

  • A high level of retail & commercial property management (leasing/ licencing) expertise
  • Tertiary qualifications in a property-related field would be advantageous
  • Exceptional communication & negotiation skills - being fundamental to the position
  • A strong understanding of the property market
  • Skills in strategic property planning and development
  • A motivated attitude with the ability to work autonomously and problem-solve

You will be rewarded with an attractive salary package between $101k-$113k+Super (11%) pro-rata for 3 days per week and a supportive team environment with flexible working hours.
