We are seeking a senior leader to oversee maintenance planning, asset reliability and engineering at a coal mine in Australia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate short, medium and long-term maintenance strategies to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
  • Ensure work management processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate shutdown planning to meet production, cost and safety objectives.
  • Develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives for mobile and fixed assets.
  • Oversee defect elimination, root cause analysis and condition monitoring programs.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Reliability Engineering, or equivalent trade background with significant maintenance planning/reliability leadership experience.
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in maintenance, planning or reliability roles, preferably within the mining sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mining legislation, asset management frameworks and maintenance strategies.
  • Proficiency in SAP and reliability analysis tools.
