Job Overview:

The Sous Chef will oversee the smooth operation of specific kitchen sections, supporting senior chefs in daily management and food preparation. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Costing: Develop menus considering product availability, service costs, marketing conditions, and guest needs.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise, train, and develop the kitchen brigade, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality cuisine.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage food stock levels, maintaining sufficient quantities for hotel occupancy and function forecasts.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to local legislation and maintain a high level of service quality.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the Accommodation and Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong people management and teamwork skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
